The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing and communication activities for Student Life departments. The coordinator provides basic consultative marketing guidance to a small number of Student Life departments and assists in the implementation of marketing plans and communication strategies. The role includes coordinating project workflows, maintaining communication channels, documenting project updates in the department’s project management system, Basecamp, and supporting the creation of marketing materials. The coordinator helps ensure that departmental messages align with university and Student Life brand standards. The coordinator also provides critical administrative and operational support for the full Student Life Marketing team. This includes updating the Student Life website calendar, managing the team’s shared email inbox, creating, maintaining calendar dedicated to managing and planning Student Life marketing initiatives. in Basecamp, scheduling meetings, and supporting events. The individual in this role partners with colleagues and departmental staff to ensure that marketing and communication tasks are completed accurately and on time.
