About the position
The Market Manager at Manpower is responsible for leading a business unit, focusing on driving sales and managing the P&L. This role involves inspiring and leading a team of sellers and recruiters to grow staffing opportunities, ensuring client satisfaction, and developing strategies for market success. The position requires hands-on coaching and collaboration across teams to deliver customized workforce solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a Manpower business unit, focusing on sales and P&L ownership.
- Inspire and lead a team of sellers and recruiters to grow the business.
- Hire, onboard, manage, and develop a team of 5-10 employees.
- Develop strategies and tactics for directing sales and recruiting activities.
- Oversee execution with hands-on coaching of direct reports.
- Engage with clients and consultants to drive loyalty and resolve escalations.
- Act as a market and industry leader, providing expertise in workforce solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience in a service industry.
- 2+ years of demonstrated people and/or project management experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge or expertise in the staffing industry or full life-cycle recruitment.
- Experience managing a P&L.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
