About the position

The Market Manager at Manpower is responsible for leading a business unit, focusing on driving sales and managing the P&L. This role involves inspiring and leading a team of sellers and recruiters to grow staffing opportunities, ensuring client satisfaction, and developing strategies for market success. The position requires hands-on coaching and collaboration across teams to deliver customized workforce solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a Manpower business unit, focusing on sales and P&L ownership.
  • Inspire and lead a team of sellers and recruiters to grow the business.
  • Hire, onboard, manage, and develop a team of 5-10 employees.
  • Develop strategies and tactics for directing sales and recruiting activities.
  • Oversee execution with hands-on coaching of direct reports.
  • Engage with clients and consultants to drive loyalty and resolve escalations.
  • Act as a market and industry leader, providing expertise in workforce solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience in a service industry.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated people and/or project management experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge or expertise in the staffing industry or full life-cycle recruitment.
  • Experience managing a P&L.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
