About the position

The Market Account Executive at Cumulus Media is responsible for managing relationships with local and regional businesses, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities. This role involves providing tailored marketing solutions to clients, utilizing a comprehensive suite of media products and services, and achieving budgeted revenue targets. The ideal candidate will be proactive in professional development and possess a strong understanding of marketing and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with local and regional businesses to protect and grow revenue.
  • Identify and create new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Provide marketing solutions to help customers achieve their business goals.
  • Strategically plan and implement initiatives to meet personal and company directives.
  • Develop effective marketing solutions via multi-platform sales presentations.
  • Negotiate and close business deals that drive revenue results.
  • Represent the full suite of Cumulus Media products and services to clients.
  • Optimize time to maximize revenue opportunities and client interactions.
  • Assist in developing creative messaging for various platforms.
  • Prospect and seek new clientele through networking and cold calling.
  • Follow corporate procedures for preparing orders and resolving billing issues.
  • Collaborate to represent the brand and help clients achieve success.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for developing new business relationships in an outside sales role.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation and sales metrics.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a willingness to collaborate.
  • 1 year of experience in Media Sales required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
