About The Position
The Manufacturing Materials - Forklift Operator is part of the Warehouse/Receiving team responsible for the selection, preparation, loading, unloading, and transportation of materials within the facility, using either power equipment or hand equipment.
Requirements
- Previous stand-up forklift experience required.
- Ability to use various measurement devices to maintain inventory accuracy
- Ability to physically move throughout our facility (1M sq ft)
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Valid US driver's license required
- Candidates must be 18 years old to work for Cartamundi.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload material from shipping containers
- Transport raw material, work-in-process components, or finished goods within the facility
- Maintain the inventory control system, including consolidation, cycle counting, stock crediting, and material identification
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to management
