About the position

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at Ingredi, Inc. is responsible for supporting the operation of various departments by performing repairs, adjustments, and improvements on equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to enhance production efficiency and maintain a safe working environment. The technician will work closely with production and logistics teams to address service requests and manage utility equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests from Production and other departments, performing troubleshooting, repairs, or improvements as needed.
• Improve production efficiency, energy consumption, waste reduction, maintenance costs, work safety, and work environment continuously.
• Communicate with shift supervisor and coworkers to complete work orders efficiently.
• Maintain tools, machine parts, supplies, and the workshop in good condition.
• Input work orders using CMMS (eMaint).
• Manage and operate utility equipment including electric switch gears, boilers, air compressors, chillers, and ventilation systems.
• Assist in company projects as directed by the maintenance manager and related departments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in factory/manufacturing maintenance.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Ability to read and understand machine manuals in English or Spanish.
• Experience with electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and process flow diagrams.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Basic understanding of food safety principles.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CMMS (eMaint) software.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
