About the position

This internship position at Clarios involves learning about the manufacturing process of automotive and marine batteries, investigating process improvements, and training shop floor employees on process changes. The role is designed for undergraduate engineering students who are currently enrolled in a full-time program at an accredited U.S. college or university. The internship will take place during the summer of 2025, with the possibility of part-time work during the school year.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about the manufacturing process.
  • Investigate process improvements and downtime reduction.
  • Train shop floor employees on process changes.
  • Assist process engineers with real-time troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Develop work instructions and One Point Lessons of process changes.
  • Analyze data of downtime and process inefficiencies.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering.
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
