Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering required
- 2–5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in CREO and Teamcenter Visualization Basic
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis, problem solving, and process troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across production, engineering, and vendor teams
- Ability to develop clear documentation, work instructions, and training materials
- Hands‑on approach with a focus on continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
- Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Desire to work on a variety of projects

Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize manufacturing processes within the Chassis Welding department to improve safety, quality, and throughput
- Lead hands‑on root cause problem solving for weld‑related quality issues and implement effective corrective actions
- Partner with production teams to troubleshoot welding concerns and provide technical guidance on process improvements
- Develop and improve tooling, fixtures, and weld process methods to enhance manufacturability and efficiency
- Create clear work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials for production teams
- Participate in safety incident investigations and support development of technical countermeasures
- Collaborate with vendors and cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
- Contribute to projects that impact communities in Fargo, ND, West Fargo, ND, Moorhead, MN, Dilworth, MN, Glyndon, MN, Horace, ND, Harwood, ND, Mapleton, ND, and the greater Fargo-Moorhead metro
