About The Position

This role is responsible for keeping the work area clean and performing repetitive hand and wrist movements to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment. The assembler will also perform functional product testing, complete production records, and set up work orders in various systems. Additionally, they will weigh, count, package, and label finished products. The ideal candidate can learn simple operations quickly, demonstrate flexibility in performing multiple simple manual operations, and has basic computer skills.

Requirements

  • Able to read and understand procedures
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
  • Must be able to perform visual inspections with and without the aid of magnification tools

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Keep work area clean
  • Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment
  • Perform tasks with the assistance of microscopes
  • Perform functional product testing as required
  • Complete production records and work order documentation as needed
  • Perform work order set ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition, and inventory management systems
  • Weigh count, package and label finished product
  • Learn simple operations quickly and easily
  • Demonstrate flexibility in performing multiple simple manual operations
