The Manager Training & Compliance is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs for transit operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisory staff. This role ensures all training meets regulatory requirements and organizational standards, oversees onboarding and certification programs, and leads monthly in-service and safety committee meetings. The position also involves managing compliance with federal, state, and local transit regulations, serving as a point of contact for regulatory agencies, and promoting a strong safety culture through risk management and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Manager will lead, mentor, and develop a team of training and compliance professionals, manage budgets, and track key performance indicators.
