About the position

The Manager, Service Center position at TForce Freight is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service centers. This role involves analyzing operational data to meet productivity, service, and quality targets, while collaborating with the management team to enhance service levels. The manager also plays a key role in customer relationship management and participates in sales meetings to align operational capabilities with customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of TFF Service Centers.
  • Analyze operational data to understand productivity, service, and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with service center management to develop action plans for service improvement.
  • Participate in sales team meetings to understand customer requirements and provide operational expertise.
  • Review projected performance plans to ensure correct allocation of drivers and routes.
  • Compare planned versus actual performance reports to identify best practices and operational adjustments.
  • Observe dock operations to ensure compliance with established work procedures.
  • Participate in new hire orientation to communicate expectations and company policies.
  • Manage customer relationships, resolve issues, and retain customers.
  • Identify skill gaps and developmental opportunities for individuals and teams.
  • Oversee Managers and Supervisors.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent (preferred).
