About The Position

Steele Rubber Products is seeking a Manager of Sales Growth & Partnerships to help expand its market presence, strengthen customer relationships, and contribute to the future growth of its sales organization. This role is for individuals who enjoy cars, RVs, boats, manufacturing, and building relationships that create long-term business growth. The company has been a trusted supplier of premium weatherstripping, seals, and rubber components for over 65 years, serving diverse customers in the automotive restoration, RV, and marine industries. Unlike typical sales roles, this position offers the opportunity to contribute ideas, influence strategy, identify new opportunities, and help shape the company's growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, self-directed approach, strong relationship-building skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, outside sales, account management, or B2B sales.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-directed approach to prospecting and business development.
  • Ability to engage decision-makers across multiple functions and levels of an organization.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn technical products and applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive restoration, RV, marine, manufacturing, aftermarket parts, industrial products, or distribution is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.
  • Build relationships with restoration businesses, RV manufacturers, marine builders, distributors, dealers, and specialty vehicle companies.
  • Expand opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Conduct customer meetings, product overviews, and business reviews.
  • Collaborate with inside sales, customer service, and operations teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects, opportunities, and customer development activities.
  • Develop and execute account growth plans.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic input to support continued growth initiatives.
