About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Pricing and Revenue Management Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in operations research methods and operations algorithms. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing pricing and promotions/offers across all global markets, solving complex revenue management challenges, and leading a diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Problem-solve complex revenue management challenges using Python.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to pricing problems to generate ROI for global markets.
  • Manage pricing tests in multiple markets simultaneously as well as primary research projects.
  • Manage a global team of contractors/vendors/direct reports in various time zones with different communication skill levels.
  • Intentionally grow, develop, and inspire team members to upskill the team's capabilities.
  • Build forecasting models, predictive models related to time series, and demand models.
  • Forecast pricing and promotions globally for all markets.

Requirements

  • Development experience in Python.
  • Experience with optimization techniques and operations research, with the ability to code in Python.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of machine learning, with practical experience building deep learning and reinforcement learning models as applied to revenue growth strategies.
  • Experience applying statistics to solve revenue management problems and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Prior experience in managing complex analytical projects with multiple direct reports and stakeholders to completion.
  • Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, data science, or decision science.
