About the position

As a Manager of Process Engineering at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in the Manufacturing Division, you will play a critical role in driving process improvement and efficiency within the Farm Division. Your key responsibilities will include leading and managing a team of process engineers to ensure production processes are optimized for maximum efficiency, developing and implementing strategies to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce waste, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes, providing technical expertise and support to production teams to resolve process-related issues, and monitoring key performance indicators to track process performance and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing a team of process engineers to ensure production processes are optimized for maximum efficiency
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce waste
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes
  • Providing technical expertise and support to production teams to resolve process-related issues
  • Monitoring key performance indicators to track process performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engineering
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry, with a focus on Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence
  • Experience in implementing Lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
