About The Position

As Manager, Operations Strategy, you will be a core problem solver and thought partner to our Operations and business leaders. You will lead high impact projects end to end across onboarding, risk, payments, and support operations, owning everything from diagnosing issues to implementing solutions and measuring outcomes. You are a self-starter and independent thinker with exceptional analytical and communication skills, capable of owning work streams that will drive the evolution of our business. This role is based in San Francisco.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in strategy, strategic operations, business operations, or a similar analytical role, preferably with a fast growing tech startup or top tier strategy or management consulting firm or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with proficiency in SQL and Excel and comfort working directly with data to answer business questions and build recommendations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with Engineering teams.
  • Prior experience in fintech, payments, banking, financial services, or other regulated industries, including exposure to KYC, onboarding, risk, or compliance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive strategic projects to improve our customer experience
  • Lead important initiatives to uplift the day-to-day work of our operational functions
  • Take a data driven approach to problem solving
  • Work across functions to ensure stakeholder alignment and deliver desired outcomes
  • Prepare and update materials covering project progress, highlighting progress towards goals, key risks and dependencies
  • Handle special projects and ad-hoc incoming requests, including deep-dives on issues identified by leadership or functional teams
