About The Position

Our RBC Operational Risk team is currently hiring Manager, Operational Risk Practice Strategy. We strive to evolve operational risk practices with technological enablement to drive consistency across business segments, regions, and legal entities. We are seeking a dynamic Manager to support the evolution of ORM Enablement and our OR practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working in change management, project management, transformation or a related field
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• A bias for action, demonstrating agility and decisiveness
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to synthesize system information and business processes into clear impacts and benefits that are conveyed through learning, communication, and presentation materials
• Proficiency in creating high-quality executive presentations and reports
• Exceptional PowerPoint, storytelling, and communication skills (including facilitation in remote / virtual models)

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and deliver comprehensive Change Management and ORM Enablement initiatives across the organization
• Create and maintain consistent messaging and communications frameworks to address implementation blockers
• Identify and escalate risks to ORM requirements delivery and collaborate with partners across lines of defense
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among key stakeholders to ensure alignment on change initiatives
• Drive coordination across lines of defense to advance external events activities and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior leadership and operational partners
• Continuously monitor and evaluate progress of the change management portfolio, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies
• Develop and implement proactive mitigation strategies to address delivery challenges
• Regularly review and assess changes for improvement opportunities and alignment with organizational objectives
• Leverage insights and strategic connections across Operational Risk to enhance initiative efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and enhance program communication channels to improve stakeholder engagement
• Provide regular updates on initiative progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and senior leadership
