Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the risk management processes for Robinhood Crypto, ensuring readiness to scale for growth while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Create and oversee Risk Appetite Statements and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), defining thresholds and establishing clear reporting mechanisms for key risks.
- Coordinate Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Product Risk Assessments, and Enterprise Risk Assessments to identify and address key risk areas.
- Coordinate Risk & Operating Committee agendas, driving discussions on critical topics and focus areas across risk types.
- Work closely with Robinhood's broader risk teams to develop, implement, and enhance risk management standards and methodologies, including Enterprise Risk Management and Security practices.
- Own, execute, and scale the Enterprise Resilience program for Robinhood Crypto, including annual Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in risk management, internal audit, or risk and controls, ideally within the cryptocurrency or fintech industry.
- Hands-on experience with programs such as Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), risk assessments, control testing, and business continuity planning.
- Experience working with cryptocurrency products and blockchain technology, with a strong understanding of associated risks and infrastructure.
- Ability to manage people and collaborate with diverse, cross-functional team members.
- Strong detail orientation combined with a long-term, proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to risk management in the cryptocurrency industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and coordinate effectively across functional groups and time zones.
