About the position

The Manager, Human Resources at Motrex LLC is responsible for overseeing employee relations, staffing, performance management, training and development, and the administration of HR policies and procedures. This role requires collaboration with HR and business leadership to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives, while also maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. The position is onsite and involves strategic planning to support the staffing needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with all levels of the organization to promote strategic alignment with company policies, goals, and objectives.
  • Partner with business and talent acquisition to support the staffing plan and needs of the business.
  • Ensure staffing requests/needs align with company goals and budget.
  • Drive recruiting efforts by understanding job expectations and competency requirements.
  • Interpret, apply, and enforce HR policies and procedures consistently across departments.
  • Serve as a key member of the HR team and a confidential advisor to managers on HR-related matters.
  • Address managers' and employees' questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain strong employee relations through fair application of work rules and policies.
  • Improve employee engagement and retention through proactive programs, including leadership development and training.
  • Support performance management and merit planning processes.
  • Advise managers on employee performance issues and develop Performance Improvement Plans as needed.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve business decisions based on departmental metrics.
  • Support the rollout of corporate leadership development and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements such as AAP, EEOC, OFCCP, FMLA, and I-9s.
  • Manage compliance with HR-related government initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in human resource management, including knowledge of compensation practices, employee relations, performance management, and employment law.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Manufacturing and labor relations experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
