Manager Distribution Center Operations - 2nd Shift

About the position

As an Operations Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our distribution center's success. You'll oversee multiple departments, lead supervisors, and ensure everything runs smoothly—on time, within budget, and with safety as a top priority. Your day-to-day will include leading and mentoring supervisors, optimizing operations, making data-driven decisions, continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, cross-functional collaboration with various teams, and ensuring safety and compliance within the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Guide and develop supervisors to hit productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Plan ahead to ensure seamless product flow, cost efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
• Analyze trends, diagnose issues, and implement smart business solutions.
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance processes.
• Work with HR, Finance, Transportation, and other teams to keep operations aligned with company goals.
• Conduct safety audits, ensure training, and promote a culture of workplace safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in distribution, e-commerce, or a related industry.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean methodologies and process improvements.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean certifications.
• Background in logistics or e-commerce fulfillment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
