We are seeking a strong Dietary Manager who can contribute to this mission by engaging, motivating, and driving a culture of service, to uphold resident satisfaction and ultimately make a difference in the lives of our residents! The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) supervises food service operations and is responsible for ensuring policies and procedures for the food services, sanitation standards and maintenance and safety of equipment. The CDM monitors meals for quality, resident acceptance, plate presentation and special dietary needs. This position also oversees the environmental assistants equaling about 20 direct reports.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in a long-term care facility dietary department
  • 2 years of experience in food service management
  • Associate’s degree in hospitality or Foodservice Management
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Executive Chef
  • Servsafe certification or Certified Food Protection Manager in MN required within 1 year of hire
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 4 months of hire
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
