About the position

NVIDIA is seeking an engineering manager to lead engineering activities related to productizing Deep Learning models. This role involves collaborating with academic and commercial groups globally to redefine Artificial Intelligence and data analytics, and to power data centers. The manager will mentor engineers, own project activities, and interact with teams across NVIDIA to develop highly optimized numerical, analytics, and deep learning algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, mentor, and lead the execution of projects and activities of the team.
• Develop, optimize, and deploy training and inference deep learning workloads.
• Collaborate with internal customers to align priorities across business units.
• Coordinate projects across different geographic locations.
• Grow and develop a world-class team.
• Travel to conferences, other sites, or visit customers occasionally.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of BSc or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of overall experience, including 3 years of management/leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of graduate studies and experience.
• Experience leading multiple software engineering projects.
• Strong algorithms and deep learning skills or experience.
• Excellent programming, debugging, performance analysis, and test design skills.
• Great communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with inference of deep learning models.
• Background with complex deep learning systems (RAG, agentic).
• Experience doing performance analysis and tuning.
• Exposure to hardware architecture, ideally accelerators, and to numerical software.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Microsoft Project).
