We are looking for a Manager to join our Commercial FP&A team. In this role, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and providing support to our commercial organization, to inform its growth, strategy, and decision making. Working closely with the Commercial General Managers and the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for providing in-depth financial reporting and analysis to the Executive Team, Senior Management, and Investor Relations.

Responsibilities

  • Primary ownership of the Veracyte Revenue Projections Process, including Budgeting, Forecasting, Analysis, and Reporting on results, trends, and themes
  • FP&A support for all Commercial Operating Expenses and Headcount
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, FP&A, Accounting, Billing, IT, and Operations to deliver recurring deliverables and also adhoc projects and initiatives to scale and evolve the organization in support of Veracyte's dynamic growth trajectory
  • Develop and maintain trust and strong relationships with key stakeholders, business partners, and colleagues
  • Navigate working relationships and deliverables which span multiple layers of the organization, along with adapting outputs, levels of detail, and communications based on the varying needs of each
  • Contribute both ideas and effort toward development and implementation of new business initiatives and projects
  • Maintain perspective to appropriately calibrate effort, time, and level of detail catered to what is at stake: decisions, external communications, internal alignment and awareness, and/or general reporting and analysis
  • Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Commercial Finance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field is required
  • MBA, CPA, CFA is a plus, but not required
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a related role with increasing responsibility
  • Experience at a public and/or high-growth company preferred
  • Industry experience in healthcare and/or life science is a plus, but not required
  • Expert utilizing excel and power point
  • Experience leveraging data and systems to support evolving business needs and to yield efficiencies in how work is completed
  • Strong communication skills, business partnership acumen, and experience working in cross functional settings are essential
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and maintain a high degree of responsiveness
