About the position

The Manager for Cheryl's Cookies Holiday Carts is a seasonal role responsible for overseeing operations at pop-up locations in Smith Haven Mall and Roosevelt Field Mall. The position focuses on maximizing sales, ensuring a positive consumer experience, and leading a team to achieve sales goals through effective management and personal selling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure positive consumer experience at Cheryl's Cookies locations.
• Maximize operations and sales of pop-up locations.
• Encourage guests to visit cheryls.com and order products.
• Capture email addresses and distribute Cheryl's catalogs to drive web traffic.
• Lead and manage store teams to achieve sales goals through hands-on interaction.
• Role model leadership, communication, selling, and operational behaviors.
• Motivate team to achieve sales goals through enthusiastic behavior and contests.
• Communicate with the Blue Butterfly team on sales goals and daily operations.
• Write schedules within budget for daily operations.
• Facilitate delivery and management of store inventory.
• Responsible for opening and closing of the stores and securing assets.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop seasonal store associates.
• Drive sales by following sales guidelines and providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain product knowledge and train associates on product changes.
• Execute merchandising strategies according to company directives.
• Train associates on inventory control and minimizing product waste.
• Follow established policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Foster brand image through personal presentation and attitude.
• Pursue Business to Business sales opportunities in the community.
• Complete daily banking and audit of financial logs.

Requirements

• Experience in store management is required.
• Ability to travel to both Cheryl's Cookies Holiday Cart locations.
