About the position

The Manager of Case Management at Paradigm Corp is responsible for leading a team of case managers to ensure high-quality service delivery for individuals with complex injuries and diagnoses. This role involves coaching, supporting, and communicating with team members to optimize their performance while overseeing daily operations to meet productivity, quality, customer, and compliance standards. The manager plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work culture and ensuring that team members are well-trained and compliant with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, support, and communicate with team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Oversee the daily operations of case management functions, ensuring compliance with productivity and quality standards.
  • Hire, train, and onboard new Case Manager team members.
  • Evaluate workloads for case management staff and manage productivity to ensure coverage for incoming referrals.
  • Maintain knowledge of jurisdictional rules and laws regarding case management services and provide ongoing training on changes.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise team members, providing constructive feedback on their work.
  • Ensure team members comply with Paradigm's security requirements and policies.
  • Ensure team members have the necessary IT system access to perform their responsibilities.

Requirements

  • QRC credentials in MN required.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a health-related field or certification as a Case Manager with at least five years of case management experience in the workers' compensation industry.
  • Leadership experience with proven leadership skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products and proprietary case management software.
  • Strong decision-making, clinical reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
