About the position

The Manager, Actuarial and Analytics is a leadership role focused on project and strategic execution in collaboration with actuarial, analytic, and business partners. This position involves complex assignments requiring specialized knowledge in actuarial methods, advanced statistical analyses, and business acumen, particularly in the Employment Practices Liability (EPL) coverage area. The role emphasizes analytical insights, project management, and talent development within the actuarial pricing team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the successful execution and completion of assigned strategic initiatives and projects.
• Develop solutions to resolve challenges of an initiative and propose changes to improve project performance.
• Independently perform actuarial and analytic analyses to solve business problems and support unit initiatives.
• Communicate analysis and project results to peers and business partners, including creating formal written communications.
• Mentor and develop assigned staff, executing talent development processes and performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis required.
• Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (e.g., SQL, SAS).
• Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.
• Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate Actuarial Credential preferred.
• 4+ years of quantitative analysis experience preferred.
