About the position
The Management Trainee position at Hyatt Vacation Club is part of a 12-month Management Development Program designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of resort operations through a combination of learning activities, task-based assignments, and practical work experience. Trainees will rotate through various departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Recreation, Safety & Security, Food & Beverage, and Facilities, while being mentored by a dedicated sponsor to develop their leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a 12-month program rotating through multiple departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of Resort Operations.
- Engage in task-based assignments and practical work experience in various departments.
- Complete Department Focused checklists with weekly focus areas.
- Interact with owners, guests, and associates to build operational expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required by the start of the program, preferably in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management.
- Recent graduates within the current semester or up to one year post-graduation are encouraged to apply.
- Prior hospitality or resort operations experience is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Degree in Business or Hospitality minor will also be considered.
