About the position
KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Management Information Systems (MIS) Specialist to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area. This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Assist the customer in the development and maintenance of information systems to support strategic decision making and optimize business operations.
- Assist in managing and optimizing the information systems.
- Assist in data analytics to support decision making.
- Manage the information systems and provide technical support to the MIS users.
Requirements
- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request.
- Minimum of five years of experience in information science.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in information science, computer science or a related field.
- Experience in cloud technologies.
- Experience in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C#).
- Extensive experience in database design and management.
- Experience in SharePoint and SharePoint development.
- Data analysis and data analytic skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
