About the position

The Managed Care Analyst will support the Manage Care Contracting Team in contract negotiations and implementation with Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial payers. This role involves monitoring payer performance and hospital/ancillary credentialing. The analyst acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to resolve complex managed care issues. Additionally, the position is responsible for all payer communication and any payer rate changes. This position requires one to apply independent thinking, utilize unconventional methods to resolve complex issues, and take full ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Manage Care Contracting Team in contract negotiations and implementation with Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial payers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field (Required)
  • 3 Years experience in a related role (Required)

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration (Preferred)
  • 2 Years experience in healthcare reimbursement and managed care (Preferred)
