The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all machinery and systems are in good working order. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment. The technician will maintain plant mechanical equipment and systems to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime, install, troubleshoot, and repair production presses and associated equipment, as well as hydraulic systems and components. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for electrical systems and devices, including motors, lighting systems, plant electrical systems (240V & 480V), HVAC, and PLC troubleshooting and programming. The position involves installation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair of plant machinery and equipment. The technician will dismantle devices to gain access to remove and replace defective parts and reassemble them. Adjustments to functional parts of equipment will be necessary to obtain optimal settings. Tasks may range from fine adjustments requiring dexterity for circuit board repair to using both hands to apply pressure to break a pipe fitting or flange loose. The technician will diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, electrical, and electronic components while complying with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
