About the position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, customer service skills, and the ability to lead and supervise maintenance activities. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and providing excellent service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on various systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Execute residential painting tasks as part of facility upkeep.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and requests promptly.
- Troubleshoot issues with logic controllers and other electronic systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, with a strong focus on electrical systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Leadership experience with the capability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques and residential painting is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with logical reasoning abilities to address technical issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
