About the position
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and facilities for several quick service restaurant locations in Orlando, Ocala, and Kissimmee, FL. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can support a standard of excellence in maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Service and perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and fixtures, such as ice machines, refrigerators, toasters, espresso machines, ovens, etc.
- Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Paint building interiors and touch up exterior paint.
- Conduct miscellaneous carpentry repairs.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and/or HVAC systems is preferred.
- Certification from a vocational or technical training program in one or more trades is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently are essential.
Nice-to-haves
- Valid HVAC Certification license is preferred.
