About The Position

Maintenance Technician | Wauwatosa, WI FT Earn up to $31.00 Hour | $1,000 Sign on Bonus MSP/HSL is seeking dynamic, experienced Maintenance Technicians to maintain the overall maintenance of the company’s campuses and properties. The Maintenance Technicians will work closely with property managers and executive directors to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for those residents we serve, ensuring the continued operation of all maintenance-related functions. This position is full-time with typical work hours ranging between 7am-6pm; however, on-call availability is required.

Requirements

1+ year experience in maintenance; housing background preferred
Basic mechanical skills to include light electrical and plumbing, (HVAC and fire sprinklers a plus)
Ability to critically think and problem solve is a must
Must be able to push, pull and lift 50lbs; climb ladders and stairs
Must possess a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Prepare rooms for move ins/outs including repairs, paint touch-ups, and moving furniture
Respond to work order requests and concerns from residents, families, and coworkers
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs throughout the building, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and large and small appliances
Test and schedule inspections of fire protect systems, security systems, and plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and large and small appliances
