About The Position

Weinstein Properties is looking for a Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified to join our team for the summer. This is a temporary opportunity at a well-maintained community with strong leadership and competitive pay. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that takes pride in its community, this could be a great fit. This is a FULL TIME TEMPORARY position that can start NOW and will run thru end of AUGUST! Potential to come on board permanently if you are performing well and we have an opportunity available!

Requirements

• At least 2 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks
• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

Benefits

• Pay: $24.50/hour and up depending on experience
• Stay Bonus: $100 after each successful completion of 30, 60 and 90 days for staying onboard through the summer!
• OPTIONAL participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team (comes with additional bonus)
