This position is for a 3rd shift role, working Tuesday to Saturday from 10 PM to 6 AM, with days off on Sunday and Monday. The hours of work are subject to change according to production needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general repairs & maintenance to facility and grounds as assigned
- Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision
- Respond and perform assigned duties in a timely manner per work order program
- Perform assigned duties following 'GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES'
- Attend Daily Production Meeting if required
- Maintain records and logs as required
- Support change over and start up of assigned area
- Support SQF through the monitoring of incoming services
- Maintain the Calibration Program
- Support SQF by maintaining the Preventive Maintenance Program
- Support SQF by completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner
Requirements
- GED or High School Education
- At least 3 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills (ie. Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting experience
- Strong Communication skills
- Multi-task Individual
- Ability to work independently or with little supervision
