Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot metal cutting machines and assembly machines for mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures.
• Read and interpret complex hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on various machines and systems.
• Realign mechanical systems using dial indicators or other methods.
• Utilize various hand tools and shop equipment for repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct PLC and/or CNC troubleshooting and programming as needed.
• Use electrical test equipment such as voltmeters, amp probes, and oscilloscopes for diagnostics.
• Employ measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for precision work.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of three-phase electricity and electrical circuits.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Experience with troubleshooting PLC and CNC systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance methods.
• Knowledge of welding and pipe fitting techniques.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools and shop equipment.
