About the position
Northland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to manage maintenance service requests and work orders at Emblem Alpharetta, a 210-unit apartment community. The role involves a variety of tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping. The technician will also be responsible for timely apartment turnovers for new residents and must maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service. Additionally, the position requires handling after-hours emergency calls and being on-call during nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance service requests and work orders including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping.
- Perform apartment turnovers for scheduled move-ins in a timely manner.
- Maintain professionalism and customer service when interacting with residents, vendors, and guests.
- Handle after-hours emergency calls and be on-call as needed, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as part of on-call responsibilities.
