About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Audubon Metals LLC is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of production machinery and coordinating maintenance projects. This full-time position requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts on an alternating schedule, and the ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies and procedures related to equipment.
• Repair equipment throughout the plant.
• Troubleshoot various mechanical and equipment failures to determine needed repairs.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on all equipment.
• Replace broken or worn hydraulic lines and cylinders as necessary.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot AC/DC electrical issues.
• Perform electrical repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and work on 12V and 24V DC electrical systems.
• Replace V-belts and pins on equipment.
• Weld on equipment as directed by the maintenance supervisor.
• Document PM findings to analyze and determine the need for additional repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read Ladder Logics.
• Metal cutting and fabrication capabilities.
• Adherence to all Safety and Environmental policies for equipment maintenance operations.
• Ability to wear all required PPE in accordance with company standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a similar setting is a plus.
