About the position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing essential maintenance support for a facility, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems are properly serviced. This role involves direct interaction with personnel and the public, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including changing belts and filters, and conducting troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Address and resolve common plumbing issues, including unclogging drains.
• Interact with client personnel and the public, providing top-tier customer service and resolving maintenance concerns promptly.
• Act as the first line of support for all maintenance-related issues, responding to requests submitted through CMMS or directly from staff.
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are performed following safety protocols and best practices.
• Safely operate and use power tools (including saws and drills) to complete maintenance tasks.
• Record work completed and any issues encountered in the CMMS.
• Work closely with other team members and departments to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with basic preventive/predictive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical components.
• Experience working with compressors and pneumatics.
• Proficient in PC, Word, Excel, and Windows OS.

Benefits

• Pay Rate: $24/hr on W2
• Full Time hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
• Temporary position for 3+ months
