About the position

The Multi-Craft Night Shift Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple equipment and systems within the facility. This role focuses on night shift operations, requiring the technician to work independently and efficiently to ensure uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Repair and replace faulty components.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment.
• Identify and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent future failures.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed, including equipment failures and spills.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements

• Technical or vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Night shift availability is essential.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with minimum 2 years in the electrical and mechanical field.
• Certifications in relevant maintenance or safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA).
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
