The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for responding to and repairing property issues identified by our residents throughout the branch city market. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Maintenance Lead, Supervisor, or Manager. The role involves reviewing the calendar for assigned work orders, gathering repair information, scheduling tasks, communicating with residents, and completing property maintenance within service level agreements. This includes property walks, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, and external repairs. The technician is responsible for documenting completed work with photos, tracking supplies, and performing rekeying and securing work. A basic understanding of technology is required, along with the ability to learn and adapt. The role also involves performing pre-move-in audits and repairs to ensure a great move-in experience. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is expected, with opportunities for development and growth, especially for those with certifications. Providing exceptional customer service to residents and assisting peers are key aspects of the position. Continuous learning and development to advance within the company are encouraged.
