About the position

The Maintenance Technician II at H-E-B is responsible for maintaining manufacturing processes and equipment in optimal condition, ensuring a safe environment while producing high-quality products efficiently. This role requires technical support and collaboration within a team, focusing on safety, quality, and customer service. The technician will operate various equipment, perform repairs, and troubleshoot issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing processes and equipment in optimum condition.
• Provide technical support to ensure a safe environment and high-quality product output.
• Operate electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform repairs and replacements on plant equipment and systems.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on various systems.
• Troubleshoot and isolate problems in equipment and systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and equipment systems.
• Strong working knowledge of plant equipment maintenance operations.
• Ability to read and design blueprints for repairs and modifications.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and electrical systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with welding and brazing techniques.
