The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for responding to and repairing property issues identified by our residents throughout the branch city market. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Maintenance Lead, Supervisor, or Manager. The role involves reviewing the calendar for assigned work orders, gathering repair information and supplies, scheduling daily tasks, and communicating with residents on expected arrival times. The technician will complete property maintenance within service level agreements, including property walks, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, and external repairs. They will also close out work orders timely, document completed work with photos, track supplies, and perform rekeying of properties. A basic understanding of technology is required, with the ability to learn and adapt. The role also involves performing effective pre-move-in audits/repairs and providing exceptional customer service to residents. The technician will assist peers, maintain fundamental business knowledge, and be willing to learn all aspects of the position to grow within the company.
