About the position

Currently seeking team members who are passionate about creating lasting vacation memories for our owners/guests visiting our resort properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you would be responsible for performing your position's responsibilities in driving company success by performing the following tasks to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic skills in drywall, painting/staining, wall vinyl repairs, and plumbing skills including drain cleaning.
• Maintain all guestroom and public space equipment, change filters, replace caulk, tile/grout, and door repair including locking mechanisms and hinges.
• Inspect rooms for pest intrusion and replace cosmetic appliance components as needed.
• Replace light bulbs and ballasts, repair closet/drapery tracks, stain furniture, and repair knicks and gouges.
• Unclog toilets and sinks, touch up paint, and glue peeling wallpaper.
• Complete planned scheduled preventative maintenance and replace faulty plumbing components.
• Maintain accurate functioning of all equipment and tools.
• Establish a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership.
• Maintain detailed record keeping in English for logs and inspection sheets.
• Assist other maintenance staff on special projects as advised by leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to follow basic written and verbal directions.
• Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet.
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to grasp, stoop, and reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
