About the position

Currently seeking team members who are passionate about creating lasting vacation memories for our owners/guests visiting our resort properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you would be responsible for performing your position's responsibilities in driving company success through performing various tasks to the highest standards. This includes basic skills in drywall, painting/staining, wall vinyl repairs, and plumbing skills including drain cleaning. You will maintain all guestroom and public space equipment, change filters, replace caulk, tile/grout, and repair doors including locking mechanisms and hinges. Additionally, you will unclog toilets and sinks, touch up paint, and glue peeling wallpaper. Completing planned scheduled preventative maintenance, replacing faulty plumbing components, and maintaining accurate functioning of all equipment and tools are also key responsibilities. Establishing a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership and detailed record keeping in English for logs and inspection sheets is required. You will assist other maintenance staff on special projects as directed by leadership and be an outstanding teammate.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to follow basic written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to grasp, stoop, and reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
