Maintenance Technician B
About The Position
A self-starter with leadership qualities and the ability to make decisions while working in a variety of situations. Install, operate, maintain, and repair all mechanical and electrical systems to meet code expectations. Meet regulatory guidelines and standards established for the facilities. Work with service technician personnel and communicate well with all team members. • Report to work promptly as scheduled. Lead by example with a professional and positive attitude. • Must be able to take call and be available upon emergency request and work overtime when needed. • Read, analyze, and interpret work order requests, invoices, and documents. • Respond to all customer requests in a timely manner. • Stay abreast of new technologies and equipment availability.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Completion of a formalized educational program and/or more than 5 year's experience/training in related field.
- Must have a current driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
- Maintenance personnel must provide their own hand tools.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC experience is a plus
- Customer service experience
- Working knowledge of the use, care and handling of power and hand tools.
- Experience in electricity, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, and appliance repair.
- Experience with painting, woodworking, sheet rock repair.
