About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift operations at our facility in Ambridge, PA. This role is crucial for ensuring that our manufacturing equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a knack for mechanical troubleshooting and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, machinery, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
• Utilize or fabricate all types of mechanical parts (fitting, valves, etc.) needed from cold rolled steel, stainless steel, steel plate, structural steel members and other metals.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state, and federal levels.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Two years' experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
• Basic troubleshooting skills with ability to assist with repairs and diagnostics of advanced processing equipment, CNC, material handling system, press brakes, lifting devices and sawing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
