About the position
The Maintenance Supervisor at Meridian Place Apartment Homes is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities within the community. This role involves managing maintenance staff, ensuring resident service requests are handled efficiently, and maintaining safety and preventive maintenance records. The position requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and performing maintenance tasks, as well as coordinating equipment maintenance and conducting safety meetings.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and performing or delegating minor and routine maintenance
- Overseeing and inspecting work performed by maintenance staff
- Managing system for handling resident service requests
- Assisting manager in coordinating and directing the maintenance staff and scheduling of maintenance personnel
- Conducting regularly scheduled safety meetings
- Maintaining accurate records regarding preventive maintenance requests and expenditures
- Coordinating or performing equipment maintenance
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor preferred
- Maintenance experience with at least 150 units
- Experience in all trades
- Team player with a superior customer service attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
