About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor serves as the first-line leader for the maintenance team, overseeing daily operations, coordinating repair activities, and ensuring optimal equipment performance. This role is responsible for minimizing downtime, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and food safety within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or distribution maintenance.
• Proven supervisory experience in mechanical and/or electrical environments.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with food manufacturing GMPs and safety regulations preferred.
• Vocational degree or certifications (CMRP, HVAC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop maintenance mechanics and technical staff.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce production downtime.
• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement programs.
• Promote GMPs, food safety, quality standards, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and foster a positive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality management systems, and company policies.
