About the position
The Maintenance Supervisor at Pegasus Residential, LLC is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations within a multifamily residential setting. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, responding to resident service requests, and ensuring the upkeep of the property. The supervisor will also participate in preventative maintenance and manage the maintenance team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and higher-level maintenance services such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, and HVAC.
- Respond promptly to resident service requests.
- Be available for on-call duties, including weekends and nights, with an on-call bonus.
- Participate in preventative maintenance tasks, including pool maintenance, exterior lighting, filter changes, and apartment inspections.
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Care for, maintain, and inventory all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of maintenance experience in the multifamily industry.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Refrigeration certification (type 2 or universal).
- Valid driver's license free from major moving violations and dependable transportation.
- CPO certification (if required in the state and location applied).
- Knowledge of OneSite preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with apartment maintenance for 5 years or more.
- Supervisory experience for 4 years or more.
