About the position

The Maintenance Supervisor for Multifamily at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and quality of residential properties. This role focuses on delivering superior customer service to residents, managing service requests, and maintaining the overall condition of the properties, including common areas and amenities. The supervisor plays a key role in preparing market-ready apartments and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, and general repairs.
• Completes resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintains knowledge of various maintenance functions including plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry, appliance repair, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, and life safety issues.
• Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Performs on-call emergency procedures as required.
• Reports maintenance issues affecting the budget to the manager.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance and records activities.
• Knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance.
• Attends and participates in required training programs.
• Provides superior customer service and represents the company professionally.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school education.
• 3+ years of related experience in maintenance.
• EPA 608 - Minimum Type II certification or CPO certification as required by local city regulations.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret data.
