About the position

The Maintenance Planner at Constellation is responsible for planning and preparing the annual preventive maintenance plan and work packages for maintenance departments and contractors. This role ensures that the plant is maintained safely, reliably, and efficiently, in compliance with company policies and applicable codes. The position involves coordinating preventive maintenance work orders, developing maintenance resource profiles, and providing technical support within the computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare annual preventive maintenance plans and work packages.
  • Coordinate the development of preventative maintenance work orders and schedules.
  • Develop annual maintenance resource demand/profile.
  • Support the development of weekly and monthly maintenance reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Manage compliance documentation for the maintenance department.
  • Provide technical support within the CMMS and participate in strategy developments.
  • Interface with Operations, Supply, and Engineering to resolve priorities and planning issues.
  • Incorporate procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages.
  • Work closely with Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians while planning and scheduling maintenance work.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering with 2+ years professional experience, or Associates Degree with 3+ years experience, or H.S. Diploma with 5+ years experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in power plant maintenance and/or operations.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Passport, as well as various other MS Office products.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, establish work priorities, and achieve results.
  • Analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated people skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years planning experience in a power plant environment.
  • Ability to learn/use P3 to assist in schedule development.
  • Experience with Hyperion/Impromtu interface systems.
